In Nigeria and also many parts of the world, people are easily moved by celebrity status and can even do silly things just to get noticed by their favourite.
This is the case because when someone appears on TV or billboards, they seem to be larger than life and people want to associate with them, not minding whether they are successful in the real sense or not.
Nigerian controversial blogger and former singer, Tunde Ednut, recently took to his Instagram page to warn his followers not to be carried away by the glitz and glamour of celebrity lifestyle because it is not always what it seems.
Explaining further, Tunde used himself as an example as he recounted how he used to squat with another singer, Dr Sid, and even wear his clothes and pose with them.
Tunde said many Nigerian celebs are just celebs who are broke and hungry but they would be taking pictures with fans and feeling themselves even though they only have fame and no physical money.
