Espanyol vs Barcelona ended in a 2-2 draw in an entertaining fixture played at the RCDE Stadium.
David Lopez's goal was canceled out by Luis Suarez as Arturo Vidal put Barca back into the lead, but a late goal from Wu Lei sealed the points for Espanyol.
The home side took the lead from Lopez with a glancing header from a well-taken free kick in the 22nd minute to make it 1-0.
Barca's best chance of the half fell to Messi who directed his headed straight into the hands of goalkeeper Diego Lopez in the 41st minute.

Enersto valverde's side came out more purposeful in the second half and were rewarded for their hard work in the 50th minute.
Suarez timed his run into perfection to meet an Antoine Griezmann's cross and score from Lopez's near post to make it 1-1.
Just before the hour mark, Suarez turned provider as a short cross inside the 18-yard box was met with a powerful header from Vidal to make it 2-1.
Frenkie De Jong was given in marching orders for a foul on Jonathan Calleri as Barcelona played remaining 15 minutes with ten men.
With less than three minutes left on the clock, Chinese striker Wu Lei got Espanyol got back on level terms with well an angled shot to make it 2-2.
Both teams settled for the points as Barcelona reamin top of La Liga table level on points with Real Madrid.
