Heartwarming moment son reunites with his mother after 17 years abroad

Family reunions are usually special occasions but in the case of one young man identified as Johnson on Twitter, his meeting with his mother after 17 years apart was a very touching one.

A heart-warming video of Johnson surprising him mom with his presence after they had been separated for 17 years recently hit social media and touched many people.

According to Johnson, he had been separated from his mother when he was just five years old because she had to leave him and look for greener pastures so as to take care of the family.

Johnson added that since that time, his every move had been to better his life and one day reunite with his mother. Things seemed bleak after the young man tried to apply for visa on many occasions but was denied.

The young man recounted that many people told him to give up on the cause but he refused to. He was eventually lucky after having the help of one Vimbai who even bought his plane tickets and picked him up at the airport just so that he could surprise his mother after many years apart.

Johnson then prayed for kids also looking to reunite with their families in diaspora telling them not to lose hope.
