Fayose blasts critics, says he is on medical check-up, not admission

The immediate past governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, has sent a warning message to those attacking him over the newly released pictures to mind their business, adding that that he is currently enjoying his life.

The Cable reports that the ex-governor, who had earlier vowed to remain a pain to his “haters” if they do not repent in 2020, asked those who were not happy about his latest moves to “hug transformer.”

Legit.ng gathered that Fayose told those who are complaining about his choice of relaxation spot while on a trip on his health that he was on medical checkup not admission.

“These ‘hailers’, when I was on their case, they were crying. Now I am on my lane, enjoying my life, they are still crying, ” he tweeted.

“Expect more so you can cry more. I’m on medical check up not admission. Celebrating New Year is my right. Haters can hug transformers. Happy New Year.”

He wondered how far his ”haters” would go in their plots against him.

“In this year 2020, God will give you victory over every oppression that has inflicted your life with hunger, sufferings and wants. He will take you to the greatest height of success,” Fayose had earlier written.

“He will return Nigeria to the path of peace, progress and unity. Happy New Year. Once again, Happy New Year to everyone, particularly my haters politically or otherwise. How far can you go in your machinations? Definitely nowhere.

“Remember; “He that is blessed of God cannot be cursed.” I will remain your headache in 2020 if you don’t repent.”

Fayose, who is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged money laundering, told a Federal High Court in Lagos court that he was sick.

On December 7, the court granted him permission to travel abroad for medical treatment.

However, a picture of him relaxing on a beach abroad has surfaced online.

According to the online news medium, Fayose was also spotted dancing salsa on a cruise ship with a lady, adding that some Nigerians have accused him of deceiving the court.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that the Ekiti state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) accused Fayose of selling the party’s secretariat to himself by proxy.

It was reported that the chairman of the state chapter, Gboyega Oguntuase, alleged that Fayose sold the party’s secretariat to one of his cronies without the knowledge of the State Working Committee (SWC).
