Mikel Arteta who is Arsenal's new manager has stated that he is ready to build his team around German football star Mesut Ozil at the Emirates stadium.
Before Mikel Arteta retired from active football, he played together with Mesut Ozil under Arsene Wenger and they were very close then.
And now that the Spaniard is the boss of Arsenal, he wants the team to play in a certain way to facilitate Ozil’s strengths.
Mesut Ozil has not been impressive this season for Arsenal in all competitions and the German was attacked by fans to be among the players who got Unai Emery sacked.
“I just try to prepare the team collectively and individually with the strengths and the weaknesses that we have in mind.
“I want to avoid the weaknesses and promote our strengths as much as possible. I think that Mesut in these can kind of positions can be very, very effective.

“On his own he can’t do it. That’s what I was saying. He needs the collective structure and organisation and his teammates.
“I put him in the team if I see every day that his attitude, desire and understanding of what we’re trying to do is there,'' Arteta explained according to Mirror UK.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently occupying 12th position on the Premier League standings with 24 points after 20 games played this season.
