Nollywood actress and producer, Chioma Akpotha, touched the hearts of many after she took to social media to reveal how she celebrated her mother's 70th posthumous birthday.

The actress revealed she opened a kitchen in honour of her late mum identified as Ugomba who she stated, made a lot of sacrifices to see them through school. She named the kitchen after her mother.

Sharing photos, she wrote: "My mum raised my siblings and I and sent us to school with the proceeds she got from the restaurant she ran and some other side hustle. Today, my Mother, who sat and watched, would have been 70! As a little girl, I had watched her toil day and night in sickness and in health."

According to the actress, she promised herself while growing up that she would not just make her mother proud, but she would also wipe her tears and the memory of the pain she had endured.
