Real Madrid chiefs have reportedly informed their manager Zinedine Zidane to forget about signing Paul Pogba next summer.
Los Blancos hierarchy claims they will not be able to fund the deal for the Frenchman who has been a major target for the coach.
Real were closed to dishing out over £150 million for the midfielder but six months down the lane, they seem to have turned back on their interests.

The Spanish League giants are enjoying the form £4 million-rated Fede Valverde is in at the moment - hence, the need to pause on Pogba's interest.
However, this news should excite Manchester United as they were concerned the La Liga outfit would offer another bid for the attacker next month.
The Galacticos are not planning to cough out about £130 million for Pogba, who is still contracted to the Red Devils until the summer of 2021.
According to the Mirror, it is yet to be seen if United are planning to offer the former Juventus star a new deal to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
Valverde signed a deal around £4m with Real last year and the Uruguay youngster has been superb for the club with his value rising over 10 percent higher.
Los Blancos hierarchy are now tipping the 21-year-old as the future of the club's midfield while cutting cost on signing an established player.
