President Muhammadu Buhari has advised young Nigerians how to experience a succesful marriage.

The president on Friday, December 27, admonished young citizens who are intending to get married to go to balanced and exemplary persons for advice if they must be strong and remain as one, PM News reports.

President Buhari said this in his congratulatory message to son of the Senate president, Ahmad Lawan, who got married in Kano on Friday.

The president's message was delivered by a delegation that include the minister of the FCT, Mohammed Musa Bello, minster of defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (rtd), minster of agriculture, Sabo Nanono and minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika.

Buhari in his message said: “If you’re looking for some advice on life, relating to any aspect, you have to focus and learn from those with good examples.

“A good example to learn from is Senator Lawan. In politics and life, he embodies many good virtues.’’

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Buhari had promised that he will not relent in running his office in line with the dictates of the Nigerian constitution.

The president said that with all he has achieved for the country, he hoped that history would be kind to him in the end.

He made this remark on Wednesday, December 25, during his hosting of a delegation led by the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello, who paid him the usual Christmas day homage at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
