It has been reported that some Nigerian soldiers serving in the northeast have gone the extra mile to put smiles on the faces of the people in their community on Christmas Day. They were said to have brought alive the Christmas spirit by doing good.
The soldiers came out in numbers to share food for the community. They were seen on camera giving out food to children to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Legit.ng came across the beautiful story after a lady identified as Victoria Ben shared the story on a Facebook page known as, Already married and yet to be married.

According to Ben, one of the soldiers identified as Captain Duniya even went the extra mile by dressing up as Santa Claus. Captain Duniya drew the attention of kids in his costumes and made the day more special for them.

The other soldiers were seen in their uniforms beside Santa Claus as they passed food around.
