Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka could be on his way out of the club after reportedly reaching an agreement to join Hertha Berlin.

Back in October, the 27-year-old clashed with supporters at the Emirates, an incident that saw him get stripped of the captaincy.

He went on to spend a brief period on the sidelines, before making a return to the squad once again.
Mikel Arteta, who recently succeeded Unai Emery as club boss handed the embattled midfielder a rare start against Bournemouth on Boxing Day in his first match in charge.
In his pre-match interview, Arteta outlined the Swiss midfielder remains a key part of his plans going forward.
But Xhaka appears to be keen to return to the Bundesliga, with his agent revealing he has already agreed a deal in principle with Hertha.
"Look, I will say it frankly and honestly, we are in agreement with Hertha BSC and would like to go to Berlin," Xhaka’s agent José Noguera told Blick.
"Arsenal was informed about all the steps, the player and Hertha are clear. It’s only about the transfer fee of the clubs," he added.
Metro UK, however, reports the German outfit is yet to reach an agreement with Arsenal over the transfer of the player.
