Marcus Rashford was on target for Manchester United in their 4-1 win over Newcastle United in Boxing Day's Premier League fixture at Old Trafford.

The England international out-jumped Federico Fernandez before heading home the Red Devils' third goal of the game from an Aaron Wan-Bissaka's cross in the 41st minute.

Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on the other hand, believes Rashford has risen well to the position of Ronaldo with stunning goals in recent times.

He said: “Marcus Rashford’s today was a fantastic goal. He has been working on it. He is a physical specimen and he looks after himself.

He is working hard in the gym and when you’ve got that spring it’s about courage and getting up there, I remember a boy I used to play with who used to head it quite well when he was close to the goal, and we compare him quite often.
