Man United vs Newcastle ended 4-1 in favour of the Red Devils as they return to winning ways in the Premier League.

Anthony Martial scored a brace as Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford also got the scoresheet to cancel out Matthew Longstaff's early strike

The Magpies got off to a flying start in the 17th minutes as Joelinton held off Harry Maguire to set up Longstaff for the finish to make it 1-0.

Seven minutes later United got back on level terms through Martial after his side-footed shot was helped in by Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Greenwood made it 2-1 as he powered in his left-shot that took a weak deflection off a defender in the 34 minute.

The Red Devils were not done yet in the first 45 minutes as Rashford rose to head home a cross from Aaron Wan-Bisaka to make it 3-1 four minutes before the break.

Six minutes after the restart, Martial completed his brace after capitalizing on a poor back pass from a Newcastle defender and the Frenchman chipped the ball calmly above Dubravka to make it 4-1.

Martial was unfortunate not to have scored a hat-trick as his left-foot shot hit the post right on the hour mark.

There were no further goals as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side claimed all three points and four points within the Champions League spot on the Premier League table.
