As people celebrate Christmas all over the world, the same cannot be said for a social media user who recently shared the news of a heart breaking incidence.

The individual identified as @Yoland12000 took to micro blogging platform, Twitter, to share the news of her boyfriend’s death, who passed away on Christmas day.

According to her, she had wished her boyfriend a happy celebration in the middle of the night, but he insisted that he had to go to bed and would wish her when he woke up.

Unfortunately, he did not wake up on Christmas day as he passed on in his sleep.

"Told my boyfriend 'Baby Merry Christmas' at 01:00 and he said "no baby I must sleep first then I'll wish you Merry Christmas when I wake up. Only for him to not wake up on Christmas," her post read.
