Sambo Dasuki, a former national security adviser, has spoken on the alleged feud between him and President Muhammadu Buhari.

During a radio interview with the Voice of America, Hausa Service, on Wednesday, December 25, Dasuki said he has no feud with the president.

I have no feud with anybody. I am more than that. I can’t engage in a feud with anyone,” he said.

The former NSA was arrested in December 2015 and has been in DSS custody. He was released after four years on Tuesday, December 24, following an order by the federal government.

Dasuki also thanked God that he has no ailment and was in good health.

Asked what he has to say about the federal government, he said there is really nothing to say. According to him, anything that happens to an individual is from God.

He said: "It is only God’s will that will prevail. It is ignorance or lack of faith that pushes some to think that certain individuals are behind their predicaments. Everything is ordained by God."

Dasuki who was NSA under the administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan is facing charges for alleged corruption while in office.

He is said to have been involved in a $2.1bn arms procurement fraud under the administration of Jonathan. However, he has denied any wrongdoing.

Following his release on Tuesday, Dasuki reunited with his family for the first time in four years. A video showed the moment Dasuki walked into his home. There were screams of joy from his family members.
