Premier League side Manchester United have reportedly lost out to Italian champions Juventus in the race to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland.

Erling Braut Haaland has been linked with a move to Manchester United with the club's fans expecting his arrival at Old Trafford when transfer window opens.

According to the report on UK Mirror, his agent Mino Raiola has intervened and has told his client that a move to Juventus will be better for him.

Raiola, the agent of Paul Pogba, is working with Norwegian wonderkid Haaland as an intermediary in a January transfer amid interest from top European clubs.

The report added that Raiola has perfected his work to make sure that Erling Haaland secures a move worth around £25 million to Juventus.

Manchester United are said to be preparing a huge £200,000-a-week offer for Erling Haaland, but they now face serious battle from Juventus for his signature.

Red Devils' manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is planning to bolster his squad when the transfer window opens in which Haaland is his main target.

Manchester United are currently occupying eight position on the Premier League standings with 25 points after 18 games played.
