Uche Maduagwu says 90% of Nollywood stars wear bend down select clothes

- Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has shaded celebrities in the Nigerian movie industry

- According to him, most of them are guilty of putting on second-hand clothing items

- Maduagwu claimed that many often send their personal assistants around to get the fashion pieces for them

Just a few days after Nigerian singer Timaya called out his colleagues in the entertainment industry about putting on fake clothing items, controversial actor Uche Maduagwu, has come out to dish out his fair share of dragging.

The movie star in a post shared on his official Instagram page noted that a lot of public figures in Nollywood are guilty of putting on second-hand clothing items.

Maduagwu noted that he does not want to mention names, he, however, maintained that he has been on movie locations with his colleagues, and he is always taken by surprise when he sees same people coming out to mention designer names when they appear on the red carpet.

"90% of popular actors and actresses in #Nollywood wear bend down select clothes… I don't want to mention names, I am not giving anyone free #advert here, but 90% of the top #actors and popular actresses wear first grade Okrika clothes.

I have been on countless #movie location with these colleagues of mine, so I am surprised to see some actors fooling people on the red carpet that they were #styled by one big #designer or showing #photos of their expensive clothes when it is from bend down select," his post read in part.

Explaining further, the actor said his colleagues often send their personal assistants on errands to get the clothes for them. In conclusion, he noted that he is not trying to expose his celebrity friends, but they should learn to give credit to the ‘okrika’ traders that sell to them.
