Tottenham Hotspur fan angrily ditched Heung-min Son's jersey during Spurs 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in last weekend's Premier League clash.

Two first-half goals from Brazilian forward Willian handed the Blues the victory over their former boss Jose Mourinho at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

After the match, the fan removed Son's number seven jersey while showing off Frank Lampard's number eight shirt on the same spot.

SunSport reports that the supporter apparently switched sides after the South Korean was sent off in the 62nd minute for retaliating a foul on him by Antonio Rudiger.

Although, it took the intervention of the Video Assistant Referee before Antonio Taylor decided to reach into his front pocket for the card.

The publication documented that this was Son's third straight red card this season, but the one he got against Everton was overturned by the FA.

Meanwhile, some Spurs fans were accused of racism after Rudiger, who returned to action not too long ago complained to his captain that monkey chants were aimed at him during the game.

Tottenham and the FA have however launched investigations into the case as the entire football body is hoping to eradicate the act.

Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has also suffered same, while Romelu Lukaku, Mario Balotelli, and a few others are still being racially abused in Italy.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Tottenham vs Chelsea ended 2-0 in favour of Frank Lampard's side as they maintain fourth spot on the Premier League table.
