- Singer Robbie Williams and his wife, Ayda Field, are serious happy couple goals
- However, Williams made a mistake and bought his wife a gift that made her cry
- The singer committed the ultimate sin and bought her clothes that were too small for her
Robbie Williams and his wife, Ayda Field, have revealed the most awful Christmas gift he's given her.
The Christmas after their son was born, the 45-year-old singer bought Field clothes that were too small for her.
Williams and Field spoke about it in their special podcast show, At Home With The Williams.
Williams said: “You have a list of things that I can’t get you because you can get them anytime you like… Or you feel fat.”
Field laughed as she explained: “As a woman, especially at Christmas time, you tend to put on about seven pounds, don’t want to put on anything which doesn’t involve elastic.”
The mom-of-three continued: “I remember this one time after I gave birth to Teddy, you got me clothes for Christmas and I felt so bad about my body image and I didn’t fit into anything and there were all these tight lyrcra stuff and I was like ‘Oh’, I remember weeping."
A surprised Williams asked: "I made you cry at Christmas?" to which Field replied: "Yep."
