Alisson Becker was in superb form for his Premier League side Liverpool on Saturday, December 21, where he kept a clean sheet to win the FIFA Club World Cup.

Roberto Firmino's goal gave Liverpool the win against Brazilian side Flamengo in the final of the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup.

Since goalkeeper Alisson joined Liverpool 18 months ago, the Brazilian has been superb for the Reds winning the Champions League title last season.

Liverpool were forced to sign Alisson Becker from Roma after Loris Karius' mistake cost the Reds Champions League title against Real Madrid last two seasons.

Jurgen Klopp's men are now world champions and the win over Flamengo also made Alisson Becker's 2019 achievement glorious.

This year, Alisson Becker has won the Champions League, European Super Cup and FIFA World Club Cup with Liverpool.

The 27-year-old agile goalie also won the 2019 Copa America with Brazil.

Alisson also won the first Yashine Trophy (the Ballon d'Or for keepers essentially), the FIFA Goalkeeper of the Year, Champions League goalkeeper of the season and Premier League and Copa America Golden Gloves.

He was also named in the FIFA and UEFA Teams of the Season and Copa America Team of the Tournament.

But despite all these achievements for Alisson Becker in 2019, the Brazilian goalkeeper was unable to make it to the top five in the Ballon d'Or as he finished seventh.

Becker finished behind Lionel Messi, Virgil van Dijk, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Kylian Mbappe.
