Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has reportedly agreed personal terms to join Hertha Berlin, but his Premier League club are yet to approve his move away from the Emirates stadium.

Back in October, Granit Xhaka fell out of favor at the Emirates stadium when he verbally attacked Arsenal fans who booed him against Crystal Palace.

There were reports after the incident claiming that Granit Xhaka has told his teammates that he would never play for Arsenal again when the transfer window opens.

And according to German Sports, Granit Xhaka has agreed a deal with Hertha Berlin so as for him to return to the Bundesliga.

Between 2012 and 2016, Granit Xhaka played for Borussia Monchengladbach before moving to the Emirates stadium.

The report added that Hertha Berlin are yet to make an official offer for Granit Xhaka and it is not yet clear if Arsenal would agree when the transfer window opens.

It depends on if newly appointed Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants Granit Xhaka to play under him or not.

Arsenal are currently occupying 11th position on the Premier League standings with 23 points after 18 games played.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Arsenal on Saturday, December 21, forced Everton to a goalless draw in a Premier League encounter played at the Goodison Park.

Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi started this game for Everton against his former club, but he got injured in the 11th minute and was replaced.
