- Jadon Sancho is now on the verge of joining Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund
- Chelsea are leading the race for the £120m star who is also wanted by Liverpool
- Sancho has scored nine goals and created nine assists this season for Dortmund
Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of beating Manchester United and Liverpool for the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
According to the report on UK Sun, Chelsea are working on a deal which will make them sign the English winger in the region of £120m.
Chelsea's transfer ban has been reduced recently, and the Blues are now ready to spend big for Frank Lampard when the January transfer window opens.
Last year, Manchester United tried all their best to lure Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford, but Borussia Dortmund chiefs refused to do business with the Red Devils.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are still determined to go for Sancho in January and they will have to go with bigger money than that of Chelsea.
Sancho scored 12 goals and was responsible for 14 assists for Dortmund as he was voted into the Bundesliga team of the season in 2018.
That made theEnglishman became the youngest player in Dortmund's history to reach double figures in League goals in a season.
He has also continued with his rich vein of form this season for Borussia Dortmund scoring nine goals already with nine assists.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are currently occupying fourth position on the Premier League standings and they will face Spurs in their next match on Sunday, December 22.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League giants Chelsea signed their first player since their transfer ban was reduced, and the footballer is 16-year-old Norwegian striker Bryan Fiabema.
According to the report, Bryan Fiabema impressed while on trial with Chelsea and he will now join the Blues' Academy. Fiabema has already made his senior debut in Norway with current club Tromso after playing in the game against FK Haugesund in July.
