Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala scored her eighth goal of the season in Barcelona Femeni's 3-1 victory over Granadilla at the Johan Cryuff Arena on Saturday.

The Nigeria international opened scoring for the Catalan ladies in the 16th minute of the encounter as they continued their impressive start to the season.

She connected beautifully puts the ball into the bottom corner of the net with an assist from Marta Torrejon earlier in the game.

Alexia Putellas sealed the victory with another superb assist from Marta Torrejon as Lluís Cortes maintain their leadership on the table with 37 points.

They opened a five points gap over second-place Atletico Madrid, who have 32 points after 13 matches so far this term.

Lluís Cortes ladies got the game off to a good start with the goal from the Nigerian football star, as they went ahead to play most of the first half in the visitors' half.
