Liverpool star, Mohammed Salah, has been likened to Barcelona ace Lionel Messi in terms of pitch quality and productiveness by former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
The Frenchman was full of praise for the Egyptian star, hailing him as a complete player who is toeing the path of the Argentine forward.
Salah has been a red-hot revelation this season under Jurgen Klopp with impressive 13 goals and seven assists across competition.
The 27-year-old star gave a glimpse of his brilliance with a beautiful assist to Naby Keita's goal against Mexican champions Monterrey in the Club World Cup semi-final in Qatar on Wednesday night.
His ability to score goals and make assist left Wenger in awe, and the 70-year-old former manager was left with no option than to eulogise his fabulous form.
“I like his evolution. Because he had touches last night [against Monterrey] of a playmaker, " Wenger said to beIN Sports.
“He created chances around the box that are exceptional, [there were shades] of Messi in him last night and I like that a guy who can score so many goals also becomes the guy who gives assists.
“That is a complete player. That’s what we all admire and what we want from our players,” the former Arsenal boss also submitted.
Mo Salah was instrumental to Liverpool's breakthrough at both European stage and Premier League last season.
The Egyptian forward has complemented his last season's form this year and he can make some magic when Liverpool face Brazilian side Flamengo in the final of World Club Cup in Qatar.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Mohammed Salah was on superb form as Liverpool decimated Watford 2-0 in an encounter that saw the European champion extend their wining streak in Premier League.
The Egyptian forward scored a goal each in either half of the meeting as his side cruised to a comfortable win on Saturday, December 14.
Incredibly, the two-goal mauling saw Mohammed Salah surpass Luis Suarez in Liverpool goals as the 27-year-old star has been directly involved in 57 goals in his last 52 league games at Anfield.
