Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo won the hearts of all football fans on Wednesday night, December 18, when he scored an incredible header against Sampdoria.

The former Real Madrid star rose an unbelievable 2.56m in the air and also stayed for over a second before nodding inside the net.

Ronaldo's goal made many football fans happy with some urging other followers to stop calling him the 'GOAT' but 'EAGLE' because of his impressive goal for Juventus.

Left back Alex Sandro provided a glorious cross and Cristiano Ronaldo lifted up high where he stayed 1.5 seconds on the air before firing home.

Many fans who have praised Cristiano Ronaldo also compared him with the stars playing in the NBA in US.

"What did I think when I saw Ronaldo's goal? I thought, 'F**k, what a goal. I say, 'f***k because if I said, 'dam' it wouldn't be fair towards the goal." Juventus coach Sarri explained.

After losing the 2019 Ballon d'Or award to rival Lionel Messi where he finished third, Cristiano Ronaldo has been impressive for Juventus.

Juventus are currently topping the Italian Serie A standings with 42 points after 17 games played this season.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Cristiano Ronaldo scooped the Serie A Player of the Year award same night Lionel Messi won the prestigious Ballon D'Or.

The Juventus striker was absent at the Ballon D'Or ceremony which was held in Paris because he needed to attend another event in Milan.
