Victor Osimhen is reportedly being monitored by the top Premier League trio: Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham following his stellar rise to a versatile striker for Lille.

The Nigerian international has become a sensational figure since joining the French giants from Belgian top side RSC Mouscron for a fee worth of €15 million.

The 20-year-old striker is the joint-third top scorer in Ligue 1 this season and has a remarkable 12 goals and two assists in 17 appearances across all competitions for Christophe Galtier's side.

With the youngster showing incredible goal-scoring skills, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham are said to have joined the race for the signing of the prodigy in the January transfer market.

According to Skysport, Spurs are the leading side for now, with club boss Jose Mourinho desperately considering signing the Nigerian ace.

Mourinho is reported to have been plotting a move for the young star with the Portuguese manager getting more closer to Lille's sporting director Luis Campos who signed Osimhen in the summer.

Although Lille president Ebenezer Bajela earlier hinted that the striker would be tied down for another one year, a big money offer may see Osimhen depart France in January with Barcelona also in race for him.

Meanwhile, Osimhen himself had confessed he is happy at Lille and will be glad to help them book a spot in next year's Champions League.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Victor Osimhen scored the 12th goal of his debut season for Lille in their 3-0 victory over Monaco in their French Cup game round of 16 encounter.

The 20-year-old put the Great Danes in front just 19 minutes into the game with a cool finish from close range as the hosts' goalkeeper Danijel Subasic was left with no option of saving the ball.
