Couple who met online discover they were pre-school sweethearts 30 years ago

Love could be very interesting as much as it is full of surprises. The story of how Amy and Justin Pounders met is one that will melt the heart anytime.

According to WASBST, the couple had a very strong connection they could not quite place, not knowing that they had met during their preschool days.

They met again when they were adults on a match-making site, and only realised they had known each other 30 years ago.

Their realisation started when Justin told Amy how he came to have the scar above one of his eyes, mentioning the school he was in when he fell off monkey bars.

The name of the school set Amy recalling old memories when she too discovered she had attended the same school as a child at the time he did.

According to the same media, the two’s suspicion that they were childhood sweethearts was confirmed eight months later when Justin’s mother brought out the photo the two had taken together as kids.

“Our hearts found a connection at 3 years old very innocently, but it was enough to recognize it again 30 years later,” Amy said.

The two took a step further and got married in their hometown where 200 guests were present to witness the occasion.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Adam Lawrence, aged 28, travelled all the way from London to Chicago to meet Anna Hosey, a fellow cat lover.

They first connected on facebook in a group of cat lovers where people share pictures of cute cats. The two kicked it off when Anna liked a picture Adam shared.
