Davido has been blessed with a huge fan base and they no doubt look up to him and also judge his actions on social media. Just recently, the star’s fans took to social media to react after he appeared in a promotional video for a controversial church, Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).

In the viral promotional video, the singer was seen having a chat with a little girl about what she would like to do next. The girl replied to his question, saying she would be at an event in her church.

Nigerians have now reacted to the video, calling out the singer over his supposed involvement with the church.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that the singer has denied any involvement with the church after the video went viral.

Davido stated that he never did a video promoting the church event. He said the little girl was introduced to him as a fan and he had a chat with her.

The singer also revealed that he had talked to the church to take down the video. He noted that what they did is disappointing and fraudulent. He added that he had never been associated with the church in that way.
