Hollywood celebs celebrate President Donald Trump’s impeachment

The House of Representatives has spoken, Donald Trump is on his way to being impeached and even Hollywood stars are buzzing.

US President Donald Trump has left a sour taste in many people's mouths since the day he became president and started doing the most obscure things.

Legit.ng learnt that the news that the House voted to approve two articles of impeachment, abuse of power and obstruction of Congress against President Trump had many feeling a Christmas miracle had happened.

Trump is the third-ever US president to be impeached - Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were the others.

Taking to social media, Trump showed just how little he cares about all this as he feels they will never get the conviction stage right, meaning he will not have to stand down.

It is up to the Senate to determine whether Trump will be removed from office or not, based on a trial regarding the convictions that led to the impeachment.

Many Hollywood celebs took to social media to have their say and it’s evident that Trump is no favourite in Tinsletown.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the former first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, has described the impeachment hearings of President Donald Trump with his dealing with Ukraine as “surreal”.

Michelle said that though she does not know what many people think about it, she is sure they would recover from it.

"It's surreal. I don't think people know what to make of it. But do I think we can come back from it? Oh yeah," she said.

She continued that the country had been through tough times like depressions and wars and it came stronger from everything.

Michelle said letting the development dampen the country and not do what is right will not be good enough for the next generation.
