FRSC promotes 2,341 personnel for exceptional performances

A total of 2,341 personnel of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) have been promoted in what the board of the agency describes as the result of exceptional performances and competence.
A statement by Boboye Oyeyemi, corps marshal of the commission, signed by the head of public enlightenment, Bisi Kazeem, said the beneficiaries had made the FRSC proud.
The statement said 108 got elevated from chief route commanders to assistant corps commanders.
Another 54 personnel moved from the position of superintendent route commanders to chief route commanders.
The report added that 741 were elevated from route commanders to superintendent route commanders.
Those promoted also included 963 deputy route commanders who are now route commanders, 475 assistant route commanders who have been moved to the position of deputy route commanders.
The corps marshal challenged the beneficiaries to see their new positions as a further call to service to the country.
For those who were not captured in the promotion exercise, he urged them to have faith that they would benefit in the future as this action was to encourage excellence and hard work.
He urged the FRSC to ensure that they continue to carry out diligent activities part of which has resulted in lesser accidents being recorded.
Legit.ng earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari recently honoured Ojeme Ewrhudjakpor, a deputy corps marshal of the FRSC, with the prestigious National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) award.

The FRSC congratulated Ewrhudjakpor on the national award via its official Facebook page on Thursday, November 28.
The post reads: "Congratulations to Deputy Corps Marshal Ojeme Ewrhudjakpor, FDC, as she bags the prestigious honour of National Productivity Order of Merit Award. @FRSCNigeria celebrates with you."
