EFCC celebrates man who dresses in corporate wears to sell bottled water

Michael Iloduba, a hardworking Nigerian entrepreneur who is known for hawking bottled water in corporate wears, was recently celebrated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and many Nigerians are not pleased.

Recall a while ago, Legit.ng published the story of 24-year-old Iloduba, who takes pride in his 'hustle' as he dresses in a suit every day to hawk water in traffic and in the market. His tenacity and dedication to surviving at all cost has made many social media users take note of him.

Well, it turns out he is still being celebrated by many Nigerians and was most recently selected by the EFCC as their 'Young n' Legit' pick of the week, an online series dedicated to hardworking Nigerians doing legal work to earn a living.

Sharing photos of Iloduba and a photo of his business certificate of registration, the anti-graft agency hailed him for his determination to make a difference despite his limitations. The agency further advised Nigerians to say no to corruption.

However, it appears Nigerians on social media were not moved by this celebration of Iloduba as a bottled water seller.

Many of them accused the EFCC of celebrating poverty as most believe Iloduba has not solved any life problems but only re-branded poverty. Some others rained curses on the commission, describing the tweet as shameless.
