And in the extra minutes of the first half, Kodija completed his brace to hand the Reds four goals advantage heading into the dressing room.

Few minutes into the extra minutes of the second half, Wesley recorded his name on the scores sheet to help the newly-promoted Premier League side demolish the inexperienced Reds side.

Aston Villa are now through to the semifinal of the competition and they await the remaining three teams from the other last eight games scheduled for December 18.
