Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in signing Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen.
The Portuguese-born tactician is hoping to add depth to his squad as he hopes to finish the season strong at the end of this season.
Mourinho was appointed new manager of Spurs last month after the sack of Mauricio Pochettino and the former Chelsea kicked off his reign on a bright note.
According to Team Talk, the 56-year-old is interested in signing the Super Eagles forward as back-up for Harry Kane at the club.
Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare is another player Spurs head coach is eyeing, and a deal around €50 million has been earn-marked for the two stars.
Osimhen has scored 11 goals and three assists in 19 appearances for his French League side across competitions this campaign.
The Nigerian star joined the Ligue 1 side this summer from Belgium club Royal Charleroi Sporting Club in a deal around €12.00 million.

Tottenham are currently fifth on the Premier League table with 26 points from 17 matches - just weeks after the Portuguese boss took charge of the club.
They were swimming in the relegation waters before the arrival of the former Real Madrid boss in November.
