Politics is a very dirty game in many African countries and Nigeria is not excluded. Good people who mean well have come and gone for daring to speak against an oppressive government.

Just recently, Nigerian actor, producer and singer, Dede Mabiaku, spoke in an interview with Object TV Media where he claimed Fela had confided in him and perhaps his son, Seun, that he felt he had been injected with something.

Fela’s protégé explained further that he had been waiting for the information to make the news since about 22 years ago when it happened.

Later, we started seeing the degenerating state of his health, we started seeing the level at which things dropped, and we all know how it ended.”
