A young Nigerian model and a burn survivor has taken to social media to celebrate her journey a year after her burn accident. The young lady identified as Kourtney George also shared photos of her progress.

The young model revealed that she had the accident on Thursday, December 13, 2018. She celebrated her progress and survival a year after this Friday, December 13.

In a post on her Instagram page, George said that she is stronger than ever a year after what she experienced. She shared some photos of herself after the incident and photos of her progress with a recent photo of herself all healed up.

According to her, she was scared to share the photos on social media, but she is grateful that the post is not about her funeral. She thanked God for preserving her life.

George told her followers to look forward to a video she did explaining her experience as a burn victim. She noted that the video would be uploaded before the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that a 2019 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria contestant, who participated as Miss Zamfara, recently narrated how she managed to participate in the pageant despite hot water accident.

Miss Zamfara identified simply as Tamara explained that hot water poured on her legs a day before the pageant and she had to be going from hospital to camp every day for two weeks.
