A man thought he could try doing something different to propose to his girlfriend. He staged a robbery as a setup to asking her the big question. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned.
Raymond Juliano from New York thought this would be the best way to surprise his girlfriend Charnelle, according to Fox News.
A video clip of the disaster has emerged via the store's security footage. It shows the couple walking in, shortly followed by a man with a gun.
According to reports, the man with the fake gun went on to demand cash from the cashier. The hired "robber" then leaves the store before returning to harass the couple.

He starts questioning them and asking why they aren't married. Building up to the question, he starts questioning Raymond about what he would do about their current relationship status.
Raymond is then seen turning to his distraught girlfriend and pops the question. Charnelle was caught by surprise but eventually said yes.
The man did re-do his proposal a few days later to make up for the staged robbery. He said he didn't mean to scare her as much as he did and felt bad.
