The entertainment industry is a tough one seeing as it is mostly about keeping appearances. It is no longer news that some people in the industry live fake lives on social media where everything appears to be rosy when their reality is far from that.

The Nigerian entertainment industry is also known to have enemies of progress who disguise as friends and try to bring others down.

Well, in a recent post on social media, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has addressed such people.

According to the film star, people should stop forming stupid and unbelievable stories just to get the pity of others. She added that people should learn to be happy for their colleagues who cinch endorsement deals because it is their time to shine.

Explaining further, Akindele said people should not feel pressured by other’s successes and only pray that their time also comes.
