The newspaper reports that relevant emergency agencies have been deployed to the area to contain the fire disaster.
As noted in the tweet, the area has been affected by a series of pipeline explosions over the years which have led to the loss of lives and properties.
Legit.ng notes that this is happening barely 24 hours after a gas cylinder exploded at the Four Point By Sheraton Hotel, Oniru in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The incident reportedly caused varying injuries to at least three people. The explosion occurred at about 12.35pm.
Some artisans were doing welding job inside the hotel premises when the incident occurred.
One of the cylinder hoses brought by the welders was reported to have leakage. This consequently triggered the explosion.

Yusuff made the demand when he visited the scene of the explosion of a tanker allegedly belonging to pipeline vandals shortly after the incident happened at the ‘Abesan Estate Gate’ area of the state.
