Super Eagles star, Kelechi Iheanacho, has been praised by Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers following the striker's impressive form in Foxes' vital 2-1 win over league rivals Everton.
Iheanacho produced a magical moment with an assist to James Vardy's equaliser in the 68th minute which cancelled out Everton's early goal.
Brendan Rodgers' men toed into the game with their usual daring show of champions against tough Everton side but lost the chance to up a fabulous lead.
Instead, the visitors quickly stole the show through Richarlison's classical finish in the 23rd minute all thanks to Djibril Sidibe who produced a superb assist.
The game ran into the first half with Leicester trailing behind the resilient Blues who kept on giving the Foxes' attack-line a huge headache.
Iheanacho came to the rescue with a fine assist for the England international who tapped into the visitors' net to balance the game and increase his Premier League tally to 12 goals.
Leicester continued to dominate the game with highly offensive attacking but Marco Silva's men proved stubborn, forcing the hosts into extra minute.
With the game looking destined for stalemate, Iheanacho gave Ricardo Pereira's pass a genuine tapping into the net of Everton in 94th minute.
Leicester City coasted to crucial win to extend their winning streak to six thanks to the Nigerian international.
Rodgers was full of praise for the Super Eagles star who he said produced a proud moment for the team.
“I am extremely happy for Iheanacho. He has given us something to be proud of today. I’m just happy about the match. It was a great game,” the Foxes boss said after the game.
