Anyone who can't afford N50k shouldn't be having children - Writer

- A Nigerian writer identified as Sugabelly on Twitter has shared her opinion on starting a family

- According to the Twitter user, someone had asked her for financial help for their new born and she was surprised to see that the amount needed was N50k

Many couples get married and have children even when they are not financially ready for it. This leads them to seeking for help when the need arises for situations beyond their power.

Popular controversial Twitter user, Sugabelly, has taken to the microblogging site to recount her experience with a family who needed financial help for their new born.

According to the lady, she received a message for someone seeking monetary help to solve a medical issue their new born was having. Sugabelly had assumed that the money needed will run into millions but was surprised to find that they needed only N50k.

This then led to Sugabelly asking if people who cannot afford N50k should be having children.

She wrote: “Someone messaged me asking for help for a medical issue for their new born. When I started reading the message I assumed it would be one of these multi million Naira surgeries. Apparently the bill is 50k.

People who don’t have 50,000 naira, should they be having children???”

She then tweeted further about how Nigerians complain about poverty but keep manufacturing it. See her tweet below:

Hmm…Interesting.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that Sugabelly drew mixed reactions from Nigerians after she complained about music mogul, Don Jazzy's new offices being 'so hideously ugly'.
