Harry Kane, Tottenham striker, has opened up on his relationship with Spurs' newly appointed boss Jose Mourinho and his dreams to win trophies with the Portuguese manager.

The England striker netted two goals as Spurs rode to a comfortable 4-2 victory over the Greek side during a tough Champions League encounter on Tuesday night, November 26, in England.

Kane-led Spurs' young-studded side exhibited loads of promises with a ruthless dominance that saw Dele Ali and Serge Aurier hit fantastic goals also.

The 24-year-old England international has now lifted the lids on relationship with the Portuguese manager who recently labelled him the best striker in the world, UK Express reports.

“It's early days. We have a good relationship so far," Kane said.

"We talk, we try and help the team, obviously me being one of the leaders in the team he looks to me for feelings and advice on the team."

Speaking about his dreams of winning trophies under the 56-year-old former Chelsea manager, Kane said he hopes to strengthen his relationship with Mourinho by helping him win big matches and titles.

“When you are winning games it definitely helps your relationship and hopefully we can build a strong one," the striker said.

“We know we both want to win big competitions. That's the team's aim, that's my aim and that is the manager's aim. Hopefully I can help him do that this year and see where we can go.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Tottenham Hotspur’s leading goalscorer Harry Kane has spoken for the first time on former manager Pochettino’s sacking as he revealed the club gagged him from revealing intricate details of the developments last week.

Pochettino was dismissed from his job on Tuesday, November 19, with the club lying in a lowly 14th in the Premier League.
