Few days ago, Legit.ng gathered the report of a Nigerian fashion designer identified as Joseph Ejiro, who took to social media to share his harrowing experience with some police officials in Lagos state.
Ejiro disclosed that he was kidnapped, beaten, tortured and made to pay N185,000 before he was released by the officers. He shared the details of the ordeal on his Facebook page and revealed it happened on his way home after delivering an item to a client.
Well, in a fortunate turn of event, the young man’s decision to speak up about the harrowing experience, has now resulted in him getting justice for the unfair treatment meted out upon him.

Ejiro disclosed on his Twitter handle that the officers involved in the incident have been arrested and have also been made to refund the money they collected from him.
According to him, popular lawyer and social activist Segun Awosanya aka Segalink, singer Ruggedman, and the Lagos state commissioner of police, Hakeem Odumosu, all played active roles in seeing that the men were brought to book.
