Quite a number of Nigerians love to make a big deal of burial ceremonies when an aged person in their family passes on. Perhaps they see it as an opportunity to give them a befitting send off.
Several photos have been making the rounds on social media from a burial ceremony where a lady decided to bury her father in a pawpaw shaped casket.
The deceased, Pa Chief Essesien Akpabio, recently passed on and he was 89 years old at the time of his death. His burial ceremony is said to have taken place in Mbente, Akwa Ibom state in Nigeria.
