Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr has been ranked 19th among the top twenty managers in the world due to his impressive performances since he became Nigeria coach.
Fernando Santos who is the coach of Portugal national team was ranked as the best manager in the world after winning the UEFA Nations League in June 2019.
Santos was chosen by football experts and journalists from 90 countries of all continents in the world for him to be ranked as the best coach.
Algeria Djamel Belmadi was ranked fifth on the standings with 61 points, while Senegal coach Aliou Cisse ranked 18th.
Belmadi helped Algeria to win the 2019 African Cup of Nations title beating Senegal in the final in Egypt.
Gernot Rohr, on the other hand, helped the Super Eagles to win bronze medal at the 2019 AFCON beating Tunisia in the third-place match.
Meanwhile, Rivers Angels' goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, has been ranked as the 16th best goalkeeper in the world.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper is now ranked as the best in Africa after her impressive show for the Super Falcons at the 2019 World Cup in France.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr explained three rationales that could make him quit his current position when his contract with Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) expires in 2020.
Rohr who has been Super Eagles manager since 2016 is reported to be puzzled with the ways he has been treated by the NFF.
