Faith is a common word many people claim to possess but their patience can be tested if they have waited for several years for something they have been trusting God for.
Childlessness is an issue plaguing many families and along the line some of them give up on ever bearing kids of their own. Well, that was not the case for a Nigerian pastor and his wife, Rev. & Evang. Mrs. Ukpai Nweke Sylvester.
The couple recently welcomed their first children, a set of twins, after 21 years of childlessness. The new addition to their family was welcomed with joyful words of thanks to God for answering their prayers.
In a post shared on Facebook by Ukpai Nweke Sylvester, the joyful father shared photos of his twin babies, a boy and a girl as he expressed he and his wife’s gratitude to God for blessing them after 21 years of waiting.
Rev. Sylvester wrote: “The family of Rev. & Evang. Mrs. Ukpai Nweke Sylvester wishes to thank the Almighty God of gods, God, the prime changer of time, who makes a thousand year to collapse into a second for giving us a set of twins - a baby girl and a boy. He does His things at His appointed season. Twenty-one years, (21) after our wedding in 3rd January, 1998, God of Abraham, God of Mercy located us and wiped our tears, changed our prayer point and gave us double miracle. Join us to say, 'Father to You oo, and be all the Glory, to You oo, be all the Honour, to you Ancient of Days oo, be all the Glory and adoration forevermore'. May God of Hannah favour all my friends as He did to my family in Jesus' Name, Amen!”
