- Antoine Griezmann says he is still adapting to life at Barcelona
- The Frenchman sealed a move to the Spanish giants from Atletico Madrid in summer
- Griezmann also hails his Camp Nou partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez
Barcelona forward, Antoine Griezmann, has opened up on his relationship with Lionel Messi since joining the Spanish giants during the last summer transfer.
The Frenchman sealed a sensational move to the Catalans after a 4-year stint with the league's top rivals Atletico Madrid.
Griezmann was a central figure in Diego Simeone's formidable Atletico team before mutually parting ways with the club in 2019.
The World Cup-winning star has now lifted the lids on his adaptation to new process at Camp Nou while relishing partnership challenge with the Argentine captain and Uruguay star Luis Suarez, Marca reports.
"I'm really shy and I'm not very good at talking to people," he said to UEFA.com.
"I'm not the type of person to start conversations. But Leo, Luis and I are getting to know each other and we've already gone for dinner together.
"Our relationship will only improve over time, and it's clear that what happens will only make us feel more comfortable on the pitch."
Griezmann also disclosed his admiration for Lionel Messi, describing the Argentine forward as a delight to watch.
"We won't see a player like him in the next 40 years," he said.
"What he does is incredible. It's a real delight to see him play."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Paris Saint Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, has thrown his weight behind Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi for the prestigious Ballon d'Or 2019 award.
The Argentine faces stiff competition from his close rival Cristiano Ronaldo and Liverpool's centre-back Virgil van Dijk ahead of this year's award gala slated for December.
