Social media was currently thrown into a fit of excitement after news broke that Nigerian singer and self-acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy, has been nominated for a category in the 2020 Grammy Awards.
Burna Boy’s 2019 released African Giant album was nominated in the Best World Music Album category, which will make him the first Nigerian to bag the coveted award if he wins the category.
As expected, several Nigerians and music lovers flooded social media in celebration of the singer, and among those who praised and congratulated the Ye crooner is colleague, Wizkid.

In a post shared on micro blogging platform, Twitter, Wizkid while describing Burna Boy as his ‘blood’, said that he deserved more, and congratulated him for the nomination.
