- Gernot Rohr has been spotted at the Teslim Balogun Stadium watching MFM vs Warri Wolves game
- The Super Eagles coach recently guided his side to back to back wins over Benin Republic and Lesotho in 2021 AFCON qualifiers
- MFM will hope to maintain their unbeaten run so far in the NPFL season
Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr is a surprise visitor at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, the venue of the Nigeria Professional Football league encounter between MFM FC and Warri Wolves.
The German-born tactician recently returned from Lesotho where he guided the three-time African kings to 4-2 victory over the Crocodiles at the Setsoto Stadium.
His team currently sits on Group L table with six points after kicking off their race to 2021 Africa Cup of Nations finals with back-to-back wins.
Though his team is made up of over 99 percent foreign-based stars, the former Burkina Faso handler is hoping to uncover some fresh talents with his visit to the stadium.
The 60-year-old coach has been at some match venues in previous seasons but has made it clear he is not impressed with the quality of performances at the NPFL clubs.
Rohr was sighted sitting at the executive corner of the stadium in the company of the Super Eagles media director Toyin Ibitoye.
Meanwhile, MFM will be hoping they can build on last match day's success where they recorded a 1-0 victory over Enugu Rangers.
The Olukoya Boys are fourth on the table with seven points after three matches and a win for them in this fixture will further boost their chances at the end of the season.
They have picked maximum points on the road so far while their first home game ended in a draw after FC IfeanyiUbah forced them to a 1-1 draw at the Agege Stadium.
Wolves, on the other hand, are three spots below their hosts in this fixture with five points from three matches and a win for them will improve their stance on the log.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr has explained that Lesotho gave his men a lot of troubles despite emerging victorious at the end of the game.
The Super Eagles cruised to 4-2 win over the Crocodiles in their second 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Maseru.
Victor Osimhen's brace and a goal each from Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chikwueze handed the three-time African kings the win.
