Lady recounts in details how she escaped being kidnapped in Abeokuta

- A lady on twitter has narrated how she escaped being kidnapped by a close shave in Abeokuta

- The lady said it all started when she boarded a car with three men already in it as conversation about money went on

- The victim said she got so confused about everything that when she got down, she realised the vehicle had no plate number

A lady has narrated how she escaped the ordeal of kidnapping, reliving a traumatic memory of how she escaped being abducted in Abeokuta.

The lady who was identified as First lady said the ordeal started when she got into a cab from a eatery and conversation about money started in the car.

She said they were 4 in the car, she and three men. The conversation on money continued as the driver said that he would share the sum with others.

The bag holder went on and spoke about how he could not access the bag because it is under a spell. At the point in the conversation, the driver cut in again and said he could “neutralize” the spell.

"I entered a cab from a eatery so I could go back to school, the driver in the car now started saying the man in the back of the car with me had 1.5 million dollars in the back of the car. We were 4 in the car, me and 3 men.

"The driver now told the man with the bag that he would share the money with us. The man with the bag now saying that let him say the truth, that he stole the money, that there’s jazz in the bag that’s not letting him take out the money," she said.

The lady narrator said she was confused all along and did not know what she should do. Immediately the car pulled over, she got down and it was that moment she realized that the vehicle had no number plate all along.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a police inspector attached to Rubochi community in Kuje area council of the FCT and two other persons have been reportedly abducted by the gunmen suspected to kidnappers.

The victims, Selven and Nengba Mundi, were said to have been abducted in the wee hours of Sunday, October 27.

It was gathered that a resident of the community, who spoke to Daily Trust in confidence, said the incident happened at about 2am when the gunmen in their large numbers invaded the village.

The eyewitness was quoted to have said that the gunmen first whisked away the police inspector, before they proceeded to the house of the second victim and also took him away.

According to the resident, the gunmen whisked away the police inspector after he failed to surrender his rifle to them.
