Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo showed his much warmer side on Thursday, November 14, after taking a delightful selfie with a pitch invader.

Ronaldo was in typical electrifying form as he scored his 55th career hat trick as Portugal destroyed Lithuania 6-0 at the Estádio Algarve.

The match was full of highlights both on and off the ball but none was cuter than the moment the 34-year old decided to make a pitch invader’s dream come true.

Now it goes without saying that many people would go to extreme lengths just to have a second with a player considered one of the very best to ever play the game.

For this reason, it is quite an honor to be in Ronaldo’s midst, let alone take a picture with him.

Shortly after Ronaldo completed Portugal’s rout, a fan seized his chance and took to the pitch in a desperate attempt to be close to the Juventus forward.

It is worth noting the pitch invader is a super Ronaldo fan as he dawned the famous number 7 Ronaldo jersey.

Stewards typically rushed to quell the situation and while they caught up with the man on time, Ronaldo appreciated his cheeky efforts and actually consented to a selfie in the very least.

Ronaldo proceeded to give the fan a quick hug before he was escorted off the pitch by stewards.

The video of the incident which has since gone viral on social media shows the fan between bouts of tears as he could not believe his luck that he finally got to meet his idol.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is still showing he has plenty of goals in him with yet another hat trick on the international stage.
