They held framed certificates, a confirmation they were certified shortlisted candidates for the honour.

Liverpool goalie Alisson showed his usual steady hands as he held two framed certificates, showing he was shortlisted for the Yachine Trophy.

Liverpool defender Van Dijk is tipped to win the award ahead of Barcelona star Lionel Messi and Juventus ace Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Dutchman was an integral figure in Liverpool's breakthrough in the 2018/2019 campaign.
